Same song, seventh verse, but always lots of fun!
We completed all of the usual Halloween business, like making rootbeer and sugar cookies...
And carving pumpkins, too, only this year Shayne and Gracie did theirs independently. Gracie said pulling out the pumpkin guts "kind of made me gag," but she still plowed on through. Attagirl!
And, of course, time for trick-or-treating. We got some great "action" poses" this year before they went out. (Click to enlarge.)
Just awesome. Gracie took all of her pictures with an oh-so-serious Indy face and her "whip" (a piece of string found in the costume box from one time when Shayne went to preschool circus day as a lion tamer). When Jenny commented that she looked so serious, Gracie replied, "You mean, so cool?" Oh my, that girl!
Even Nana and I got in on the costume scene, thanks to Aunt Jenny, who hooked us up with some of her Halloween stash.
And today...we're still dealing with the Annual Halloween Candy Hangover.
It's worth it!

Love the action shots, so cute. And I laughed at Gracie's face while cleaning out her pumpkin. You can see the disgust! Looks like a great Halloween.
