Well, let's start with what everyone really comes here for

Baby pictures, baby news.

Alex, AKA Tank, is doing great. Would you like to hear the current poundage of our heavyweight champion? Drumroll, please...

As of Monday morning, nine weeks old...

Seventeen pounds even.

HUGE.

And so stinking cute. The cheeks...still with the cheeks.

We've been enjoying first smiles and coos this month. (Though he also likes to avoid eye contact and then smile the moment you've looked away. Stinker.)

He was given a blessing at church the first weekend in July, the first of our children to not cry through the experience. (Brendon made up for it with his own crying as he gave the blessing, though. It was very, very sweet.)

Alex enjoyed lots of good Grandma snuggling that same weekend when Grandma and Grandpa Moore came for a visit. Doesn't he look comfy?

He also experienced his first swim last weekend. Definitely did not love it at first, then became totally chill.

The child is held pretty much all the live long day.

But, that is okay. Especially since he sleeps fine at night without being held, gets up twice to eat, and (usually) slips right back to sleep.

Sweet, sweet baby.

Good gravy!! What are you feeding that boy? I must be gravy.... and potatoes... roast beef.... ROFL He's got my chubby 7 1/2 month old beat! And it's not like she is that small. I hope that you were lifting weights before he was born since basically that is what you have to do to carry that kid around.
