On Tuesday of this week, we spent the evening at the fair. It was five whole hours of great weather and happy, compliant children willing to try new experiences. All without the aid of a stroller.
It was a county fair miracle.
Seriously, we had a great time. Aubrey got to chase her favorite animal--pigs--around the petting zoo.
(Though the goats seemed to like Brendon a little too much.)
Shayne and Gracie excitedly explored the offerings of the midway, including a roller coaster, fun houses, giant slides, and the large ferris wheel. (Hello, where were these children at Disneyworld?! The difference of just one year...)
And, of course, there was the joy that is funnel cake.
Oh, looks like Aubs found another pig to snort at...
Minus the extortionist prices of everything, we're already looking forward to next year.

Looks like you had a lot of fun. Aubrey and the pigs is funny. Is this a new fascination?
Five hours with no meltdowns and no stroller is a miracle because I don't think we would last that long!
