Yep, that's right. Smoke. Also known by those who knew and loved Scotty Moore as Tang.
You remember watching the "smoke" from the orange powder waft around in the glass and container, don't you?
Today is Scotty's birthday...it would have been his 19th. Brendon had the idea to start a new tradition in our family to honor this day by eating some of Scotty's favorite foods for dinner. So on the menu tonight: Spaghetti, Tang, and pudding packs for dessert. The kids are so excited for this special treat! Maybe we'll pull out a couple of his videos as well...and rewind our favorite parts.
We're also sending our thoughts and prayers on this day to Brendon's parents, Emma and Randy. We love you! We'll be lifting our glasses of "smoke" tonight in honor of Scotty's life. Cheers!

We decided to celebrate his birth and not his death, also. We had pizza, as this was his traditional birthday dinner. (Spaghetti would have been his 2nd choice) We took balloons and a cute puppy statue to the cemetery. Tyson and Cameron did a great job on the mausoleum door. We'll get pics posted later.
