Well, we got home about an hour ago, and little missy is on her way back to her usual self. She did great pre-surgery, and was an angry drunk coming out of it. Who can blame her though, right? But after a nap in the car on the way home and some treats and hold you time with daddy since we've been here, she's nearly good to go again.
She'll have a couple of days of scratchy, sore eyes and double vision as her brain learns to see with both eyes together, rather than the alternating focus she had been used to. There will be also be week or two of the bloodshot look (and of trying to get the sharpie off her forehead!), but it seems that everything went well and according to plan. (I don't want the picture to confuse anyone though, she will still be wearing her glasses; the surgery was only to pull her eyes into alignment with her glasses.)

Really!? He had write on her to distinguish Right from Left? I would recheck his credentials.
When Lauren had surgery on her arm, they marked which arm was to be operated on with a marker as well. It must be to avoid any stupid errors.
